Agreement with “POST Luxembourg” on a free site for additional Pack Up Station

Councillor Yves Damy welcomes that the municipality is receiving another Pack Up Station in Roeser near the former music hall, along with the existing one in Liwingen. Since the station in Liwingen is often overcrowded, this new station will certainly help to ease the situation. The station will be centrally located, easily accessible on foot or by bus, and in the neighbourhood of the park Kolla, a popular meeting place for many citizens.

Agreement ASFT 2026 – Childcare Facilities

Parliamentary group spokesman Edy Reding asked Mayor Tom Jungen whether the municipality has made any progress in investigating the causes of the discrepancies between the state figures in the agreements for childcare facilities and the actual billing of costs and revenues by the municipality, as well as the reimbursements from the state. This has already been a topic during this year’s budget debates.

Notarial Deed – Acquisition of a Real Estate Complex in Roeser

Parliamentary group spokesman Edy Reding gave his group’s full support for the acquisition of this real estate complex in Roeser. This purchase assures not only the continued existence of the current hotel-restaurant in the village center of Roeser, but also provides the municipality with more future options for a long-term enhancement and redesign of the municipal center of Roeser.
