Interim balance of department for interculturel cohabitation and equal opportunity

Councillor Sandra CARELLI welcomes the initiative and the numerous new projects in the equal opportunity and interculturel cohabitation department and emphasizes the municipality’s employees commitment. She is also pleased about the citizens large acceptance of each initiative and the constant increase of participants. Therefore she underlines the importance of staying on this path and organizing further various events.

Agreement with the ministry of sports about financial contribution on the „BEACH@FIELD“ project

Councillor Erny FISCH welcomes the financial contribution of sports ministry on the „BEACH@Field“ project. He underlines the great succes of this new events first edition and the opportunity of further source of income for the participating local associations. Upcoming editions of this event offer a great potential for the future.

Preliminary purchase agreement for a house located in the center of Peppingen, rue St Benoît

Parliamentary group spokesman Edy REDING underlines the municipality’s constant attemps of purchasing this house before the implementation of the project named „bei der aler Schoul“ in Peppingen. Unfortunatelly the purchase of this house only became possible after the passing of the owner. Edy REDING is pleased that with this acquisition the municipality is becoming the sole owner of all the real estate in the village center and that two additional apartments can be build on short notice within the housing project „bei der aler Schoul“.

Creation of surface drainage in Crauthem, rue de Hellange, combined with traffic calming measures in the village entrance.

Parliamentary group spokesman Edy REDING welcomes the adoption of the quotation for the first phase of the creation of surface drainage at the village entrance of Crauthem combined with the promised traffic calming measures. He is hopefull that after the municipality’s approval, public authorities will now grant all outstanding authorisations and that a quik implementation of constructural measures will follow without delay.

New reglementation of cash allowances for students

Councillor Sandra CARELLI is pleased that the municipal council is adapting its cash allowances reglementation to actual educational landscape. It is very promissing that in the future both BTS and doctoral program will be taken into account. Also she welcomes the enhanced recognition of professional training. Determining that young people should be encouraged further more to vocational training isn‘t enough, this objective should be supported by specific measures. Therefore Sandra CARELLI welcomes the adapted reglementation which includes also cash allowances for professional training students.
